Enterprise Planning Professional Certification

December 21st, 2007

I'm a pro now )

Nice test, there were some really interesting questions and it requires some competency with cognos bi. k I think I can guess what 4 questions I've answered wrong.

Technically, it's 1 hour, 57 questions, pass score 75%. Much easier in Russia, since you gain + 40 minutes due to different language.
I've got 93% and spent just a little more than an hour.

Hi Yuri,

I am Sandeep from Pune in India.
I have been working as a report developer in Cognos for the last two years. I think its time for me to take up the Cognos 8 BI Author.

I understand that you have completed the Planning certification from your blog. I guess its obvious that you might have completed the BI Author certification already. Can you please help me on how do i prepare myself for this exam?

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Sandeep

Hi Sandeep.
You’ll be surprised, but I haven’t passed BI certifications yet. I’ve tried BI modeller about a year ago, but failed.

I’m going to try again this year ;)

As far as I know one of the best variants is to learn self-study guides by heart. Some questions from modeller exam required almost direct quotes.
