Hello, Marek.

First of all, I'm sure you know, that this limitation is solved by MultipleFileThreshold option )

Oracle has 2 OLAP engines.
1) Oracle OLAP option -- lives in database, is nice tool, very similar to size limitations of Transfomer, but much more flexible when it comes to modeling. I'd write a separate post about it if you're interested
2) Oracle Essbase -- an ex-Hyperion MOLAP-engine, very expensive and very performant. I've built billion non-zero cells cubes in it with ease and seen it scale very good on concurrent analytical sessions

Security in Cognos BI and Oracle BI? I've wrote about some troubles <a href="http://ykud.com/blog/cognos/connecting-bi-system-to-active-directory-oracle-bi-vs-ibm-cognos-bi-scripts-to-extract-active-directory-information" rel="nofollow">I've encountered while integrating Oracle BI and Active Directory here</a>. All in all, it's the same limiting 'where clause', but I'd prefer Cognos.

How about OLAP?
Cognos in Transformer has "limitation" with 2 GB pre one file. Does Oracle has same problem?
And second question how is security compare to Cognos?

[...] PS: Just to notice, they say aggregate awareness for Cognos BI is in beta-testing. Just after I spent so much space promoting database-level aggregate navigation. [...]
