Just a quick note on a few things I’ve found while trying to make TM1 application server (pmpsvc) behave. More like a note to myself, I’ve got dozen of these in Evernote, let’s see if they’ll be of any use to anyone ):

• TM1 server (adminhost, server, cognos urls) configuration is recorded in pmpsvc_path\WEB_INF\configuration\fpmsvc_config.xml, you can edit it directly.
• You can edit pmpsvc_path\WEB_INF\configuration\log4j.properties file in the same folder to change log level to INFO or DEBUG to get a lot more info in WEB_INF\logs\pmpsvc.log
• When you’re deploying TM1 app server in Cognos BI Tomcat (as you should), dispatcher URI for gateway (as it seems) is used to communicate with pmpsvc server
• TM1 Operations Console doesn’t support CAM authentification as of now, version 10.1. What’s the point in it then? Sigh.
